Hall Sweeps
All students must be out of the hallway during first 10 minutes of class - no exceptions. Only students with legitimate passes will be allowed in the hallway after hall sweep.
College Applications
The Post Secondary Lab (315) is open Tuesdays and Thursdays during all lunch periods for seniors to work on their college applications and FAFSA completion. The lab is also open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:05 - 4:05.
Senior Save the Dates:
- Senior Recognition Dinner is April 29th starting at 6 p.m.
- Senior Fees are $105 and are due on May 1st
- Senior Prom is June 1st from 6 to 11 p.m. at Monty's Banquets in Bensenville
- Senior Luncheon is June 17th at Navy Pier
- Graduation is June 19th at 7 p.m. at Aerie Crown
Our JROTC students attended a drill competition at Westinghouse 1 Dec 2012. There were 17 schools out of which we placed 3rd place. Our next competition is Saturday, 12-8. JROTC students and staff were tasked to have a March of Dimes fundraiser by JROTC Headquarters. Students raised $1488.00 ($3.00 per cadet), and a check for $1488.00 was presented to the March of Dimes on Friday 7 December 2012.
Foreman JROTC students received a meritorious unit award for our outstanding contributions and willingness to serve the City of Chicago and the Department of JROTC. We received this award for the work our students did while assisting May Emmanuel at the Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony.
Foreman JROTC reached out to the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. This program provides assistance to children in need of Christmas gifts. There are thirty tags placed on the Christmas tree in the main office.
Foreman JROTC has decided to participate in a raider challenge in Waynesboro MO. Stay tuned for upcoming fund-raisers.
We have a great group of JROTC students (....) and teachers so please join me in congratulating them in their fine service to our community and for representing Foreman HS.
Upward Bound is currently recruiting freshman students to apply to their program. This program provides students who need some additional supports academically to prepare them to pursue a college degree. Additional information is available from any counselor.
