The Foreman College and Career Academy Boy’s Varsity basketball team recently made history by winning the second Regional Championship in school history.

First year head coach Brian Rose and the rest of the coaching staff did an admirable job of leading our young men to a successful season, highlighted by a 43-29 win over #2 seeded Ridgewood for the Class 3A Regional Championship on March 3rd.

The Hornets were dominant on the defensive end against Ridgewood, thanks to key preparation by the coaching staff and execution by the players. Ridgewood only made 11 of 56 shots in the entire game, including 6 of 41 from three.

Optimism is brewing for the 2017-2018 season because this year’s team had 10 underclassmen on the roster. Senior Greg Kester is the only player not returning next season, but the Hornets return plenty of experience.

Congratulations to our Hornets on their great accomplishment, we look forward to seeing what’s next for our up and coming basketball program!
